Outlast 2 PS4 Pro Support Confirmed, Enhancements Detailed - PlayStation LifeStyle

While Outlast 2 PS4 Pro support being confirmed isn't really that big of a surprise, given how almost every game will support Sony's upcoming console refresh, knowing the game officially will and how should be a nice treat for those picking a PS4 Pro once it's out.

Yeah that support list is getting bigger by the day....I like that nba2k will be native 4k 60 + hdr....it's a great thing. Funny I haven't seen any articles about nba2k

I don't know how could they enhance the PS4 version with the PS4 PRO. The game already runs at 60 FPS on PS4 and I didn't notice any difference between the maxed out PC version and the PS4 version. I expected native 4K resolution on PS4 PRO tbh.

I didn't know that EVERY game from now on will benefit from the Pro. I guess it makes sense, with all that power, why not right?

Outlast was a graphically impressive game for an indie game and was one of my favorite horror games I have ever played. Increased graphics is just so welcoming

Planning to but not at launch. Basically I want to wait until the launch of Horizon Zero Dawn. That way i have plenty of time to look at Eurogamer comparison articles and decide whether its really worth to own or not. If there a big benefit for 1080P Monitor owners will definitely pick one up.

The game (as the original) already runs @ 1080p/60 on X1 and PS4, would be cool if they could add aforementioned improvements and maybe run native 1440p? Either way, hope more devs take advantage of the beefier GPU

This isn't gonna convince me in updgrading to a PS4 pro, the difference is not big enough and I don't have a 4ktv...
I'd rather wait a couple years for the PS5 to come out...

You don't need 4k TV to benefit from PS4 Pro. Sure it can boost resolution, but it can also boost framerates, effects and textures over the PS4 version. Take the latest Tomb Raider; you get several settings you can choose from depending on your preference or your TV's capability.

even then the differences are not big, or game-changing. If you really care about those small nitpicky details, it souds like your a PC gamer. I would rather get the next generation of consoles.

That being said. If you DON'T own a ps4 console already then ps4 pro is the way to go, especially if you plan on getting a PSVR.
