Best value in gaming right here. So happy that Microsoft allowed it, although it really should be available on every platform. Shame I can't get it on PS4 like I do Xbox One. Sony really dropped the ball by saying this wasn't a value and making up gamers minds for them.

go back and read through all of the comments when EA access was announced. Look at the comments in just about every xbox article as well. i guarantee that you will see twisting contortions of view, justifications, sh*t talking and trolling flags within the first 10 comments on all of them. this is totally a sony first website and the fanboys are always talking sh*t about anything positive on the xbox front - especially if its something the ps4 doesn't have.

EA Access has actually been much cooler than I expected. It really is a shame that Sony wouldn't let it come to the PS4. PS4 owners really are missing out on a great value there unfortunately. Hopefully this will get changed sometime in the future as it really should be available to both of those platforms. Nice to see EA doing something that doesn't wreak of greed for once.

I don't know how long the contract is for, but MS has an exclusivity with EA after Sony declined EA Access.

EA Access is for now an Xbox One exclusive that I hope comes to Xbox 360.

To be fair, when this was first announced, most people just saw EA. EA isn't exactly known to be the pinnacle of consumer friendly, and a lot of people were skeptical...myself included.

In hindsight, it was probably unfair of me to be overly critical, although I figured it to be much like PS+, but locked in to EA games...which was sort of a double edged sword for me. Now, seeing how well they've managed to make it a worthy service, I wouldn't mind seeing it on PS4. I'd probably find enough value in it to subscribe. Despite seeing a lot of games I'd have no interest in, I see about just as many that I would. As I recall, at the time of it's launch, some of it's features were tied to digital purchases, which aren't my thing. I probably never would have cared if it was on PS4 to begin with, but I likely would have been skeptical of EA either way.

I honestly don't even remember how I felt about it back then. I don't think I was upset that Sony wasn't allowing it, but I also don't recall thinking that people were missing out on much from it's exclusion. I personally thought it was more that Sony didn't want it to compete with PS+...which is logical for the time, but then Sony made PS+ mandatory for online, so it wasn't really direct competition. I think the biggest thing I was concerned about was that it would become a trend and every publisher would have their own similar service, which could grow to be a bad thing if publishers abused the system to maximize profits.

I can't believe how great this value is! Like of ALL companies EA decided to give us this value is unbelievable to me. I haven't even finished my Battlefront 10 hour trial yet, hell I haven't even downloaded all the games on it yet, there's so much stuff.

My only fear is that once it gets too popular, they'll do something to screw it all up.

Between EA Access with free current Gen EA games like DA Inquisition, Sports titles and XB Live Gold with AAA titles like Black Flag, Tomb Raider DE, KI Ultra Edition and 2 free X360 BC titles a month, it is a great 1-2 combo for XB1 owners. Planning to keep both services throughout the entire generation.

Tje value of both services are awesome.

Well...maybe some of us don't value EA as a company or think EA access is some kind of deal. It's a Trojan.

Maybe as a Sony fan and GAME fan,we still despise a company that shut down Maxis(Sim City),shut down Origin(Wing Commander),shut down Westwood Studios(C&C),shut down Bullfrog(Dungeon Keeper),shut down Phenomic((Battleforge),shut down Pandemic(Battlefront),shut down Danger close(Medal of Honor),shut down Black Box(Need 4_Speed) etc.

Maybe we are still bitter they didn't support the Dreamcast because Sega went with Powervr instead of 3dfx that EA was using. Maybe we don't like their monopolizing the sports industry and taking NFL2k away. Maybe we don't like their limited games where the rest is sold as micro transactions or season passes. Maybe we don't like their supporting Microsoft early on with all that DRM.

Some of you might like EA and can let them slide on all the rest I mentioned. But some of us haven't forgotten a company who won worst company 3 years running.So EA access means very little to us.

Actually, sounds like when a company screw's you like Microsoft or EA, you're willing to look the other way because of fanboyism and not see that EA is not as good as you think they are.

Sometimes what's good for the industry is not supporting certain things. I knew I would get disagrees. And that's fine. But those football games in the vault mean nothing to me when I'd rather see NFL2k again. But you feeding their coffers means that they have a continuous supply of money to keep licenses away from other developers.

But enjoy your EA access. And keep supporting their negative effect on gaming.

And yes, EA shut down my city's developer Westwood Studios. Used to be able to connect with them and call them. But just like all the rest,EA used them up and shut them down.

There hasn't been a new game for a while, since Titanfall or Hardline, can't remember what came last. That was about 4 months ago I guess.

They have to keep adding to it tho, guess next up will be Battlefront or Need for Speed, but most likely the latter as it seems to be selling the worst of the two.

Also last years Sport games as the new ones drop.

There has also been a few rumours of EA releasing 360 games on access, like Mirrors edge before the launch of Mirrors Edge 2, which would be a solid marketing strategy if you ask me.

I own a ps4 but seeing the negligible differences overall, its surprising that the XB1 hasn't done better especially with values like that. I'd like to play ufc or hard-line or Madden. Sony's anti consumer move not to include EA acess kinda sux and I gotta say I'm kinda jealous. If it pleases anybody here, Bloodborne sucks

We all know EA changed to cancer in gaming industry. I mean, look how they hide more and more content behind paywall and DLC's. Yes, i also dont like EA for all this, but yet, EA access is a good value for what it offers. So, on one side I hate EA and on the other I really like them. I feel like I got schizophrenia, damn son.
