With the successful release of Mass Effect Legendary Edition, could BioWare be considering the possibility of a remaster of the Dragon Age games?
Really hope so!
Well it already led to a Crysis remaster coming out for the series.
Only if it's Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition. Those were amazing but Origins was kinda suck ass.
Origin was literally the only one that was good.
Facts. I miss the badass finishing moves of Origins. And everything else.
The original comment was stupid imo but its his opinion i guess lol! But man, origins is by far the best I agree but "the only good one".... cmon, even inquisition had a lot of charm and was fun to play even if it wasn't quite as good as most hoped!
It mirrors the Mass Effect trilogy quite well. Origins, like ME1 is very different to the games that precede it and as a consequence would require significant more work if a remaster were to happen. Respect the games mechanics like they did with MELE but it definitely needs a massive visual overhaul.
honestly the first time i hear this lol I hope it's satire Origins was amazing and the others well not so much
I've been making the same statement on N4G for 10 years now and I still get the same responses.. in fact, 10 years ago last month is when I bought Dragon Age II and ended up getting the platinum for it. I tried Origins but it bored me. It's a shame because the story seemed awesome. Then I got Inquisition back in 2015 and enjoyed it.. but Part 2 is what I have a true soft spot for. I still do a playthrough of it on my PS3 occasionally.
What? Origins was the best one. All of them were good but nothing compared to origins.
literally one of the stupidest comments ive ever seen on the internet
I'd rather have the Dead Space remaster, and then the DA remaster
I would rather have them both. These are the kinds of remasters I like. Where they are going in and improving the game assets. I hate remaster where they just port the game to the new platform and call it a day. I want to see noticable improvements in not only framerate and graphical resolution, but textures, environments, and character models. Keep the gameplay as it was, but improve the full look to nextgen.
I'd love a Dead Space Trilogy for sure!
Bring it on.
Rather have a dead space remaster
Calling it now. This gen we will see BioWare back. Dragon age and Mass effect is going to be great I think. My most anticipated games.
Let’s not count our chickens before they hatch.
Let's not jump the gun just yet. Remember the OLD Bioware that worked on these games are gone. Take their next games with a HUGE grain of salt.
Just because they were able to put a new coat of polish on an already amazing series doesn't mean much. I'd wait till they release another New game to judge what Bioware can actually do.
I would love a complete remake of Dragon Age origins
Dragon age 2 and Inquisition were garbage compared to masterpiece Origin so no.
Actually quite the opposite. 2 is the best medieval themed RPG ever made.
Then you have a shit taste.
When most anticipated games are only remasters from once great company you know they are beyond redemption.
Some of the games I want EA to remaster dead space trilogy. Original Mercenaries and saboteur in one package with updated graphics and controls Dragon age 1-2
It's possible but I get the feeling they remastered the ME trilogy in order to have available game saves lead into a potential 4th Shepherd game. Time will tell.
I was thinking about this the other day.
If it does then cool for fans of the series, but I just haven't enjoyed any of them.
Unlike Mass Effect series, there are a number of things that need to be fixed with Dragon Age that's beyond cosmetics. Forget remaster, this series needs a remake.
2 and Inquisition are fine.. it's Origins that needs a remake.
