IGN: SIren Blood Curse Review

8.0 Presentation
While the story starts out weak, it gets better and better, adding a number of twists and turns to keep players engaged. The only downside for some gamers may be the complexity of the storylines.
8.0 Graphics
Sharp visuals and detailed characters are sometimes hampered by camera angles and sight jacking that takes over the screen. First person view can be extremely disturbing at times.
8.5 Sound
Voice acting is very good and the atmospheric noises, score and Shibito cries are enough to send shivers down your spine.
8.5 Gameplay
Overall, an excellent mix of stealth and combat is found within the game, although it is hampered at times with clunky exploratory and puzzle elements, and trite escort missions.
8.0 Lasting Appeal
Collecting all of the items within the game will take a while, especially because the game doesn't emphasize exploration as much, but there is enough to keep a horror fan engaged.
8.4
Impressive OVERALL

I liked the demo a lot and really interested in the game, but I think renting it is the way to go with this one. That is unless anyone can tell me other wise ... :)

Pretty awesome score. I want to play this game, but it'll take a long time to download. Release a blu-ray version here in the states.

It downloads in sections, so you can play the first section while the second one is downloading. You can also delete any section you are done with to save space, and just re-download it from the store when you want to play it again.

8 Best Horror Game Remakes

If you're going to relive a nightmare, you might as well do it right.

One thing that's been prevalent now more than ever is video game remakes. Dormant series like Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, and System Shock aren't first getting brand-new sequels but remakes of the classic entries. Horror titles are no exception, with the recent Resident Evil, Dead Space, and Silent Hill remakes.

Putting aside whether these remakes are necessary, most of them are excellent. They can expand and enrich the world with added details, improve gameplay mechanics, or put more focus on the story. Standard remakes will count, but story remakes or reimaginings will also be included.

If Castlevania is there as an Horror Game then Demon's Souls should be there as well.

Also, you might want to add Shadow of the Colossus there too. Where you play as a mass murdering genocidal maniac on a warpath.
