Yoshi's Woolly World Review | Good Game SP

GGSP writes: "I just love this game's visual style. I mean, it's hard to imagine anything cuter than those Yarn Yoshis - especially that dessert level which was so sweet it almost put me into a sugar coma. And Nintendo have been so creative about stitching the woollen theme into this whole game."

Fair review. Some top quality video journalism there /s. I like the look of sack-boy yoshi, in fact there's a strong whiff of LBP (minus the creativity) about the whole title.

Monster_Tard3602d ago

The game is basically a Yoshi Island game done in wool, so implying that the "whole title" is them copying LBP is just dumb as the Yoshi Island games have been around long before LBP and it's not the 1st time Nintendo made a game designed around fabric, they did it with Kirbys Epic Yarn which also came out before LBP.

Angeljuice3602d ago

Are you denying the aesthetic similarities to LBP?

Little Big Planet 2008

Kirby's Epic Yarn 2010

Pozzle3602d ago

I'd say that Woolly World looks more like an updated version of Yoshi's Story (which came out in the 90s) than LittleBigPlanet, except the levels are made of wool instead of stitched-together patches of material.

RPGrinder3602d ago

Yoshi is LBP plus actually decent platforming

* Looks like a solid Yoshi game, and an improvement over the 3DS game with better music, visual & Gameplay.

They improved from on Yoshi game to the next and that is all I can ask of them.

Solid score.

7 Wii U Games We Need on Nintendo Switch

The Wii U was full of some of Nintendo's best games, which allowed you to go on epic adventures that only Nintendo could offer. Unfortunately though, nobody played these games.

Because of this, Nintendo are wisely porting the majority of the Wii U's library. Porting over games from the Wii U to the Switch has many advantages such as allowing a whole new audience to experience great titles and it is so much cheaper to make a port than a whole new game.

Unfortunately there are numerous games rotting away on the Wii U, that would make great additions to the Switch's library.

It’d be awesome if HD remasters of GameCube & Wii titles also came to Switch

FalconSabre2410d ago

Agreed. There are so many good games I'd love to see, especially the Mario Galaxy games.

Super Mario Maker is must for Switch owners.

strayanalog2410d ago

Definitely. I'm still waiting on this one myself.

Sgt_Slaughter2410d ago

Xenoblade X, Star Fox Zero, and Super Mario 3D World/Maker are the best bets IMO.

Segata2410d ago

Tokyo Mirage Sessions,Xenoblade X and The Wonderful 101 are the only ones I want now.
