For many of us that have already sunk hours upon hours of play into Titanfall, one of the game's most obvious issues has been its unbalanced matchmaking.
Players are often teamed up with low-ranked players comparative to the other team, where a party of highly-ranked players can easily out-rank the opposition.
The game doesn't re-balance squads to keep things even, meaning you could enter a match with new players while the other team is stacked with refined weaponry and powerful titans.
Developer Respawn knows about this issue, and is looking to address it.
In a simple and concise post on Twitter, head of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella responded to fan requests for a Titanfall x Helldivers 2 crossover two love heart emojis, praising the idea.
Popularized by Doom in 1993 and still making video game haters gnash their teeth today, first-person shooter games are the best thing to happen to gamers since pizza rolls. So here are 15 underrated first-person shooter games you may have missed.
Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.
Lol
All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.
XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games
I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games
Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
The main problem I see with it is that it refuses to mix the teams up. For instance today me and some pugs ran train on a team... often winning by a 90% margin, but the game would not swap players around to balance things out. This continued for 4 games in a row until eventually the enemy team quit.
At least respawn is working to first unlike EA's other company hmmm Battlefield 4 cough*
Well..
The obvious problem is parties.. On any given night, we have 5-6 guys playing and we naturally want to play together..
Which means our team stays intact no matter what the other team does
I don't understand why games are released without party systems. Theyve been around long enough and they are important.
That and the fact the teams don't mix are the only things Ive noticed that Id change so far!
Every round is freaking fun on PC. They need to fix things like screen tearing for example. It's simple but feels so epic the game.
