Look I understand that last gen was ridden with all sorts of memory limitation and what not and they had to use limited color palette for redundant use and conserving memory space for other aspects of game but with X1 with tons of Ram available (roughly 10 times the original X360) what is the reason now to use dull, desaturated color tracks, environments and cars.

Like in the trailer video all I see is supernova sun, desaturated in color environment, cars and tracks with huge overcontrast eyes burning black to white and vice versa shift.

If realism is what you are trying to achieve then make your Game Engines lighting technology and algorithm better and not fake it by dulling/destaturating the game colors. :(

Now here's hoping actual Forza 5 gameplay would be different and that was just a trailer made that way.

It is always funny how you can tell by the comments when no one watches the video and doesn't even realize and it just goes to show how trolling is in a lot of peoples blood. I don't think the disagrees are from thinking Forza 5 looks like a bad game, it's mostly likely from the fact that said game is an xbone exclusive and MS is royally fcking consumers over with that console.

There's only one thing that could get me hyped up, and that would be night driving. I played Forza 4 when I got my 360 for like an hour before I put it away because... it was okay and GT5 fulfilled all my needs anyways, and I just kinda stopped caring about everything else it offered me tbh.

Night driving though would be awesome, beyond even.

That was CG. You can clearly see from the over usage of blur making a movie like watch. Everyone ps sheep saying driveclub was in game while forza5 was cg when its exactly the opposite lmaooooo. The micro brain inside these people continues to amaze me

We will see next week. They might have been both in engine, they might have been both target renders. I want to see actual gameplay videos, even if they are taken from in engine you can add offline rendering to replay videos to make them look nicer. Just compare GT gameplay with GT replay.

I didn't get to play Forza 4, but all the others were awesome.

Most fun driving games on the market. That Driveclub game looks cool too.

The hste from fanboys is expected. Forza is a far superior game than Drive Club in the frame rate category. forza ia 60 fps Drive Club 30fps. Forza is more realistic sim racing in the video game industry.

A game 10 years in the making, a game so good it took us 7 of those years just for us to pick the name. Sarcasm. This goes one of two ways. Every Forza game has been a crappy beta that's all been leading up to Forza 5, or 7-8 years of deciding if a number or a word after the title actually counts as adding on to the most likely 2-3 year development time it's actually had.

Why not just do what you did before, just keep the game fun. And not make the whole experience about online play. That is something that pesters me.

A racing game should be about racing but every time I attempt to play a racing game on console *outside of a heavily setup league* I end up being smashed into and crashed and destroyed.

I don't see why its so hard to setup a game so that those who do wreck on purpose or those who do stupid things are not punished. Why not do what iRacing does that tracks you actually wrecking and off track experiences for online, and then when you go into a room or random match you are setup with players of the same skill.

This way it ends up with players who constantly wreck each other in there own little demo derby rooms and people who want a real track experience to be able to have a go at good clean racing.
