CVG - Being a football fan, I always keep up to date with reviews of Fifa or PES. But this year I feel very sorry for Fifa players on the 'other' consoles. By this I mean the Wii, PS Vita, PSP, 3DS and PS2. As only the PS3 or 360 versions are reviewed. I imagine a lot of people make the assumption that the other versions are similar with reduced graphics or slight alterations for their console, but this is horribly wrong.
Games Asylum: "Outdated football games are a common sight when scouring jumble sales, car boots and charity shops for bargain price video games. Entire shelves filled with decade-old FIFA and PES games spread across a dozen formats. Often they end up in bargain bins, sitting alongside unwanted celebrity fitness DVDs and seemingly random TV show box sets. But here’s the thing. Not all football games gathering dust in the likes of Oxfam are in fact worthless."
Just who is buying FIFA 13 on Wii U? We may never know, but there are more people buying that than there are Bayonetta 2 and Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric.
are seriously trying to downplay Bayonetta 2 with sales
In Fails of the Weak #210, Jack and Geoff bring you fails in Sniper Elite 3, FIFA 13, Sportsfriends, Destiny, Halo: Reach, and FIFA 14.
I think the article writer should feel sorry for everyone who bought Fifa this year. Always disagreed with the haters who call EA out for releasing the same game each year but for the first time, I actually agree with them this year.. Fifa 13 doesn't offer enough value for it's price tag. Most of Fifa 12's problems have gone largely unfixed or made even worse like dodgy ref decisions but worse still, first touch is an awful completely unwanted addition to the game. It isn't fun seeing the likes of Messi try and control an easy pass only to miss it and see the ball bounce in the air randomly.
