Gameinformer writes "When Resident Evil 2 arrived on the PlayStation back in 1998, the ambitious game astonished me. Protagonists Leon and Claire each had two full scenarios that filled in story gaps in the other, Pulp Fiction-style, resulting in four unique, complementary playthroughs. Fast-forward to 2012 and Resident Evil 6 offers three full-length, intersecting, two-player cooperative campaigns along with a slew of bonus modes. The sheer wealth of satisfying gameplay and insane set pieces has me hooked like RE 2 did back then."
A new rating of Resident Evil 6 for Xbox has been spotted, which could suggest that it's getting a current gen port for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment
GF365: "The iconic survival horror franchise Resident Evil boasts a great number of popular and memorable characters. Arguably, Leon S. Kennedy is the most popular and recognizable character aside from Jill Valentine. In this article, we'll be counting down every Resident Evil game Leon is featured in, ranked."
Yeah I figured it would be ordered like this. For me Leons best game was his debut. RE2.

Seriously, 8.75? Man, after watching the Gamespot review I cannot take a review/reviewer giving this game a score this high seriously.
Either like it or hate it.. These reviews shouldnt be biased tho. I know its a departure from the series we love so its a let down but unless the game plays bad & has many tech problems, it should be reviewed fairly... If they say "The game is an 8 but i hate what capcom has done to it" its understandable but to say" Its a 3 because i hate what capcom has done to it" is just biased & stupid.. Either way, i dont want another 3rd person shooter but want to beat this to say i completed them all so ill get it when its $30
Finally a review that gets it. The game isn't bad at all, I think a lot of times review sites bow to pressure. I think a lot of people were expecting this game to get negative reviews, so if a site gave it positive reviews, it'd probably be attacked by the same idiots that complained about the Mass Effect 3 ending.
Gamer's are so fickle, the annoying loud mouthed ones that contradict themselves with every comment in particular. Most of the loud mouthed majority that frequents sites like this want Resident Evil to be the exact same thing it was, but those same people complain about COD games not changing. So what do gamer's really want? I think a game about complaining about something would do really well.
I think RE6 is ambitious, I love the series, I have from the beginning.
Prepare to be disappointed.
I was going to wait for the Game Of The Year Edition, but I guess there wont be one judging by all these reviews.
