IGN: "Don’t accuse The Elder Scrolls of selling out to the modern-day pop-culture vampire craze. The venerable role-playing series has been in the blood-sucking business for years, and so there’s nothing to forgive when Dawnguard, the first expansion pack for endless epic Skyrim, boasts a vampire-centric premise. In fact, you’ll be thankful Dawnguard went down this road."
As The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered takes up 125GB, original designer Bruce Nesmith recalls fitting Skyrim into a tiny file size.
Skyrim is still my favorite ES game. I’m playing through it again right now since I never finished it.
That judicious lack of oversight permeated everything in Bethesda's RPGs, in a positive fashion.
I much prefer a left alone Obsidian and Larian Studios. Bethesda's formula has grown old for me.
Skyrim blew my mind when it released. That game took me to the gaming, promisedland. Going back to it when it was updated for the PS5, it felt slightly rough around the edges, but great for its time
We should leave Obsidian alone. Bethesda on the other hand should be kept under constant psychiatric observation.
Big Bethesda Nintendo Switch eShop sale now live with lowest prices ever for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Doom (2016), and more.
I don't much care how good some reviews want to paint this thing, there is no way I'm going to be paying $20 dollars for a DLC. Especially sense playing vampire is already dull for me in the game - mainly because everyone can see through your full-covering mask/helmet and tell right away that you're a vampire. What amazing x-ray eyes you guards have.
it look's pretty good.
Dark Brother Hood DLC next PLEASE!! :D
Pass
COD DLC and now it's moving into other games.
M$ is programing folks to pay more for DLC and as long as everyone is just willing to throw them your money they will keep doing it.
Justify it however you wish be it longevity of fun factor or whatever but before you know it all DLC that used to be 1,200 points will be 1,600 points.
Yes maybe Bethesda did do a good job with the DLC but what if the next Dev doesn't? or the next and then the next?
I'm just not willing to just let M$ up my usual 1,200 point DLC to 1,600 points.
We saw them do it when it went from 800 to 1,200 and that wasn't that long ago and now they are doing it again.
I'll get it when it goes on sale, my copy of skyrim isn't going anywhere and I still have PLENTY of unfinished games from last year
