- Timeouts in Matches: Answering a long-standing request from players since the introduction of the path-to-pro mode, teams will soon have the luxury of one timeout per side. If the match extends to overtime, an additional timeout becomes available.
- Enhanced Playoff Seeding: In Riot’s official announcement, the focus shifted to seeding for playoffs. Post Episode 7 Act 3 launch, teams boasting higher Premier Scores will relish in more advantageous seeding positions.
- 15-Minute Playoff Queue: The playoff tournaments will introduce a 15-minute seeding period, coined as “better matchmaking.” This necessitates teams to commit to the queue, remaining in the lobby for the stipulated quarter-hour.
