It’s that time of the Season again, get ready to spend some Valorant Points. The players were impatiently waiting for the opportunity to get some of their favorite skins for a special price. Finally, the Night Market is back in Valorant.
The New Night Market Is Now Open
For the Valorant players who aren’t in the known, Night Market is a special store that offers 6 (rather than the usual 4) random weapon skins at a discounted price. The offer includes skins from the Select, Deluxe, and Premium tiers. The Night Market usually coincides with the end of an Act and lasts for 12 days. This one will be open from August 16 to August 28.
In the early hours of August 16, the official Valorant account on X announced that the Night Marked was open. The announcement was short and sweet. It read: “Sun’s down and a supernova’s in sight. See what shines in your Night. Market”.
The one thing that we adore seeing during the Night Market is the community coming together. In a game as competitive as Valorant, that doesn’t happen all too often. If you browse any of the social media pages for Valorant, you will see lots of players exchanging pictures of their stores, asking for advice, and also helpful community responses. For us, that kind of teamwork is the best part of any game.
Valorant Community Is Divided by Luck
Given that the offer a player gets is completely random, some players are just luckier than others. Understandably, this always creates some friction in the Valorant community during the Night Market, as some players go green with envy.
Sure-Ad-5572 stated: “That’s the fun part. There’s no such thing as a good Night Market… Okay well, there is, but it’s so astronomically unlikely that it might as well not. The odds you get even one item you want with a worthwhile discount is… well, you’re more likely to run into the red hacker detected screen, and that’s notoriously rare itself”.
Another player, Lukinator_v, disagreed. They noted: “More than half of my Premium skins have come from the Night Market so I don’t think the odds are that low. I have gotten Neptune Vandal, Neptune Guardian, Forsaken Vandal, Forsaken Spectre, Magepunk Marshal, Ion Phantom, Prime Axe, and Prime Karambit. And those are only what I have bought, there were way more that were equally as good if not better that I didn’t buy”.
High expectations can ruin any game, so try not to get your hopes up too much, as this offer is randomized. We sincerely hope you were lucky enough to get the skins you wanted, if you weren’t, hopefully, you will at the next Night Market.
