Edit Group Policy Editor
- Enter Edit Group Policy using the Windows search bar.
- Expand the Computer Configuration and click on Administrative Templates.
- Go to Windows Components, and expand BitLocker Drive Encryption.
- Click on Operating System Drives, and then on the right side locate Require additional authentication at startup.
- Double-click on this, and in the pop-up window select Enable, Then select Allow BitLocker without a compatible TPM in Options.
- Click on Apply and then OK to save the changes. After that, restart your computer.
Enable TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot
- Restart your PC and press the DEL or F2 key to boot the BIOS menu instead of Windows.
- Once in BIOS enter Advanced Mode (this can be done by pressing F2 or clicking on the option).
- In the Settings tab make sure that TPM is Enabled (if you are using an Intel processor TPM is called PTT in BIOS, and for AMD processors it is fTPM).
- After that, under the Boot tab look for the Secure Boot option (if you cannot find it, you will have to Disable the CSM Support for Secure Boot to show up).
- Enable Secure Boot, and save and exit BIOS.
After performing these steps, reboot your PC and try launching Valorant again. The game should start without a hitch and you should be able to return to fragging in no time.
