Jetragon

Jetragon essentially exists in a league of its own in Palworld. This Dragon-type is seriously overpowered compared to the rest of the Pals in the EA version of the game — and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. One of the very last Pals you can catch, Jetragon is a hard hitter in combat and an incredibly fast flying mount, beating out top contenders, like Ragnahawk, Beakon, and Faleris. Thanks to its Partner Skill, you can let loose a barrage of missile strikes while riding this Pal at speeds outranking other mounts by roughly +1500.

Anubis

While Anubis doesn’t quite rank S-Tier in my book, it’s pretty darn close. This pure Ground-type Pal is a powerhouse on your team and back at your base. It’s highly capable from an offensive standpoint, and it boasts work suitability for tough jobs that needs doing at your camp with Mining Lv. 3 and Handiwork Lv. 4.

Frostallion

Both Frostallion and its Frostallion Noct variant make incredible partners and Pal mounts. While neither makes the fastest mount in the game, this can be made up for with beneficial passive skills like Runner or Swift. Both also receive an innate attack buff by changing the player’s attack type to that of the Pal. You can even land attacks while rising Frostallion, making it a reliable option in any situation.

Blazamut

Similarly, Blazamut receives a Fire damage boost to its moves while mounted. This Pal deals a lot of damage as it is, so it’s one of the best to deploy in combat. Apart from this, however, it’s also one of the select few Pals with Level 4 Work Suitability, specifically for Mining in Blazamut’s case. This makes it great to keep around your base when you’re in need of resources like stone and ore.

Necromus

Necromus and its Neutral counterpart, Paladius, are kind of a package deal in Palworld. However, the former seems to be the better option between the two and has quickly become a fan-favorite among players. This Dark-type hits hard and can be ridden as a mount. It’s also able to double-jump, a skill that most Pals aren’t equipped with. It’s sitting at Level 2 for Lumbering and Mining as well, so it can be especially handy around your base.

Orserk

Orserk is easily one of the best Electric-type Pals available in Palworld, earning its place in B-Tier. Not only is this dual-type especially strong against Dark- and Water-types, but its ability also forces the latter to drop extra items — a great way to farm resources like Pal Fluids. It boasts Level 4 Electricity Generation, to boot, beating out other able Pals at your base.

Quivern

Quivern makes a reliable flying mount, able to deal powerful aerial attacks at high altitudes. Both strong and capable, this Dragon-type also picks up the slack at your base. It sports proficiency in Handiwork, Transporting, Mining, and Gathering, making it a one-man team of sorts. Altogether, it’s a better option than other powerful dragons, like Elphidran.
