Getting a Fishing Rod in V Rising
Before vampires can fish, they need to locate the recipe and craft a fishing rod. Luckily, this is a simple task that does not require a lot from the players. To craft a fishing rod, players have to use a Woodworking Bench, which is unlocked after defeating Rufus the Foreman. Rufus can be located in a Bandit Logging Camp in Farbane Woods, and he is a level 20 boss.
Once Rufus is defeated, blueprints for the Woodworking Bench and a fishing rod are received. The only thing left is to place a Woodworking Bench in your castle and use it to create the fishing rod. To create a fishing rod, players will need the following materials:
- 8x Planks
- 4x Copper Ingot
- 4x Coarse Thread
Fishing Spots
Now that you have a fishing rod, your vampire can fish in marked locations scattered around Vardoran. Approaching the water, you will notice a bubbly white area. These are the fishing spots. Once you locate a spot like that, equip your vampire with a fishing rod and click on the bubbly spot.
The fishing process in V Rising is a rather simple thing, you just have to click on the spot to start, and once the water starts splashing, click again to reel the fish in. Once you have caught your prize, the fishing spot will disappear. If you want to continue fishing, you will have to locate a new one.
