Unicorn Overlord Release Date
Unicorn Overlord is planned to release later this week on March 8, 2024. The highly-anticipated tactical RPG has spent years in development, and players are excited to finally dive into ATLUS and Vanillaware’s latest project. With works like 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Odin Sphere under their belt, there’s a solid amount of hype backing the long-awaited release of Unicorn Overlord ahead of launch.
Unicorn Overlord Platforms
At launch, Unicorn Overlord will be available to play across the following platforms:
- Xbox Series X|S
- PlayStation 5
- PlayStation 4
- Nintendo Switch
There’s some debate that we may see the new title expand to Xbox One and PC post-launch, given its availability on PS5 and PS4. However, this can be written off by Vanillaware’s involvement in the project, which all but guaranteed its release on Sony’s systems. For now, there are no concrete plans to move forward with an expansion to additional platforms.
Is Unicorn Overlord Coming to PC?
It’s been confirmed that Unicorn Overlord won’t receive a PC release at launch. Given developer Vanillaware’s history, it’s unlikely that the game will expand to the platform down the line. However, some players are holding out hope following the spread of release rumors, which began with the platform’s listing on SEGA’s support page. While it’s certainly possible that Unicorn Overlord could be made playable on PC post-launch, there have been no announcements to confirm the rumors.
