In the new title, you’ll follow the prince Alain as he works to lead the Liberation Army to victory during a war that’s devastated Fevrith. How to Play Unicorn Overlord Demo
The demo for Unicorn Overlord is currently available to download and play across Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. I opted for the Switch version myself, and I can safely say the installation wasn’t a problem at all.
No matter the console you main, you can simply head over to your system’s storefront and search for Unicorn Overlord. I found the game advertised under the Nintendo eShop’s Featured Games header, so you may not need to look too far. After that, click for more details and choose the Download Demo directive. You’ll need 3.3 GB of space, so be sure to clear some room if necessary.
My download was complete within half an hour on Switch Lite, but I’d wager the process might take even less time on Xbox and PlayStation.
How Long is the Demo for Unicorn Overlord?
While many demos nowadays allow you to play through fixed events and explore closed areas for as long as you please, the demo for Unicorn Overlord is actually time-locked. This means you’ll have just 7 hours to play through the preview, regardless of the progress you’ve made. This is certainly bittersweet news for those who are looking forward to diving in, but there is a bit of good news to help the medicine go down. At launch, you can transfer your save progress over to the full game, meaning you can pick up where you left off.
