Classified as a Feathersword, Ochlys is a powerful combatant who boasts an aerial advantage in combat, giving her units the upper hand in a variety of scenarios. While you’ll meet her fairly early on in the game, however, you’ll need enough Divine Shards to actually recruit her. How to Recruit Ochlys in Unicorn Overlord
After you complete the Winged Knight side quest in Unicorn Overlord, you can start a new quest called An Angel’s Request — the result of which is Ochlys’ recruitment. The requirements to complete the task at hand are simple: Collect 30 Divine Shards and spend them at Ochlys’ shop. If you can manage, then the skilled Feathersword will join your cause.
While the objective is pretty straightforward, gathering enough shards may take some time if you’re running low. With a keen eye, you can pick up shards across the landscape. Just stay on the lookout for a glimmer on the ground.
That aside, forward thinkers may find it easier to take an alternative route, such as executing Mandrin during the prior Winged Knight quest. Of course, this may affect future events, but doing so will earn you a whopping 15 shards in one fell swoop. Weigh your options to make the best call.
