Energy Activators are an essential part of the game, once you take down your training wheels, as they offer you a considerable boost to the number of Modules you can have. The downside is that you’ll need a couple of those, one for each Descendant that you’re playing. And the worst part is, that each one has to be crafted individually, which means grinding for materials and Blueprints with horrible drop rates.
Energy Activator Blueprints Only Have a 6% Drop Rate and It Shows
Not getting a single Blueprint drop can be more than frustrating, as shown by one player, named Lyions_Pride95 on Reddit. They started a thread saying they have zero luck when it comes to getting Energy Activator Blueprints and have asked the Reddit community for some advice.
“I cannot for the life of me get an Energy Activator Blueprint to drop. I have only been able to get the two mushrooms the game outright hands you for free and I’ve not gotten a single one as a random drop…Please…tell me I’m doing some wrong. Is there some secret farm for them I don’t know about? I’m losing my mind.”
Fans Share Clever and Funny Methods to Get More Activator Blueprints
For starters, the majority of players suggest looking for Amorphous Materials that have weapon parts that you’d also like. That way when you open them, whatever drops, you’ll get something that you need. A win-win situation. Some Amorphous Materials have 3% chance to drop a blueprint while others have 6%, so keep that in mind when deciding which AM to grind for.
The funniest (and arguably the best) suggestion is to target farm Ultimate Descendant parts, not Activator Blueprints. Digital504 said: “I’m going to give you some top secrets about farming. Go farm an ultimate descendent and you going to receive loads of mushroom blueprints.” That way you will confuse the RNG gods, who’ll give you all the ultra-rare items you are not looking for, instead of the one you’re targeting. For example, instead of getting an Ultimate Ajax Enhanced Cells Blueprint that you “want”, you’ll get a ton of Energy Activator Blueprints instead (for the record, it’s the Amorphous Material Pattern No. 057).
But, in all seriousness, the game is about the grind and luck. You may get a mushroom Blueprint from each and every AM you open, or you can be simply unlucky and get none, like the original poster. The most important thing is not to stress yourself about it. Find a way to get those Amorphous Materials that you enjoy the most, and the rest is easy-peasy.
