The latest Season of TFD brought a lot of fun stuff, along with a bunch of errors. Players seem to be taking a liking to the new Void Vessel missions, Keelan, doggos, etc, but that came at the cost of a lot of new errors. However, we can’t deny that Nexon is very quick to respond and have already released a couple of hotfixes. The last one is The First Descendant Hotfix 1.2.0c, released on December 7.

Content Improvements
(1) Content Adjustments
– Enhanced the visibility of various Recording Devices left inside the Void Vessel.
– Changed the NPC for entering Void Vessel Story Mode (Recording Device) from Seneca to the Void Vessel Operations Terminal. ㄴ Currently, Void Vessel Story Mode is accessed via NPC ‘Seneca,’ while Normal and Hard modes are accessed via the Void Vessel Operations Terminal. To simplify the entry process and avoid confusion between Story and Normal modes, the entry NPC has been unified to the Void Vessel Operations Terminal.
(2) Descendants
– Adjusted the additional damage of Keelan’s skill ” Void Corrosion” at Level 4.
– Adjusted the explosive damage and additional damage values for Keelan’s “Onslaught” skill when equipped with the “Focus on Prey” skill module.
(3) UI&UX
– Improved the icon for the Flame Keeper skin sold by ETA-0 to make it easier to identify the corresponding Descendant.
– The reward acquisition list for Void Vessel Container now shows rewards consolidated by difficulty.
Bug Fixes
(1) Content
– Fixed an issue where ‘Vulgus War-Slave’ in Defend Albion resource: Special Operations Hard Difficulty incorrectly had shields.
– Resolved an issue where Fellows could be targeted by the commander monster Nazeistra’s Absorption skill.
– Addressed the incorrect progress tracking of Battle Pass weekly challenges “Detonator” and “Warrior of Toxins.”
– Fixed an issue preventing some Descendants from entering Void Vessel Hard Difficulty despite meeting the unlock conditions.
– Fixed an issue where monster stats became excessively stronger in missions such as Infiltration Operations and Void Vessel.
– (Updated) Fixed an issue where the Grappling Hook functioned inconsistently across platforms.
ㄴResolved an issue on Xbox where the Grappling Hook would fail to attach, bounce off surfaces instead, or make it impossible to reach the destination.
(2) UI&UX
– Fixed an issue where purchased Fellows were displayed as unowned in the inventory management screen after purchase via the buy button.
– Resolved an unnatural display issue when entering the customization screen through the ring menu.
(3) Shop
– Fixed an issue where discounts were not applied when purchasing Fellow bundles with partially owned items. ㄴ Descendants who purchased Fellow bundles before Hotfix 1.2.0c will have their consumed Calibers refunded. Detailed instructions will be provided in a separate notice.
(4) Miscellaneous
– Resolved an issue where Fellows rotated without motion during interaction.
Crashes and Errors Still Persist After The First Descendant Hotfix 1.2.0c
Unfortunately, the game still contains many errors, and players report frequent crashes. They’re predominantly on PS4, but all platforms seem to be affected. “Game is crashing in PS4 every now and then when in Albion” said heateor, “Please fix crashing issues when loading back to Albion, game also crashes after interacting with things like mailbox, storage, or after customizing, I’m on Xbox, but there are many of people on other platforms who are reporting the same thing.” added profilerplays, and “Before patch season 2… Some crash when loading to albion (first time or after finish the mission) Now…. Crash too many times. Unplayable anymore. My PC ryzen 5 2600, radeon 6600xt” said Konamibros.
As for other errors, players report issues with new missions for Sharen, banned words in the chat once again, some Modules not working properly, and mismatching game versions. Hopefully, we will get the 1.2.0d Hotfix very soon.
