Many players are quite dissatisfied with the recent lack of new content. And although it seems that something big is coming, it sure would be nice to face it with some new builds. The latest Warbond, Truth Enforcers, dropped on October 31, almost six weeks ago. So, a new one is bound to drop soon. Some Helldivers 2 leaks claim that the next Warbond will have a “Primordial” theme.
Leaks Show Off the “Primordial Warbond”
Now, before we get into it, you might be wondering why we use quotes when we say “primordial”. Well, looking at the leaked content, we’d rather call it primal, not primordial. However, since we can’t know which name Arrowhead will use, we’re sticking to the leaker’s term, “Primordial”. Primal means something related to an early stage of evolutionary development. Primordial means something that existed since the very beginning (think: primordial soup).
So, what’s exactly in this “Primordial” Warbond? First and foremost, it looks quite cool. It kind of brings us back to our high school days, like back in 2006, when for some reason, everyone was wearing those shark tooth necklaces. In other words, millennials might find something nostalgic in this aesthetic.
One leaker, Tier5NPC, shared a compilation of various leaks, most of which have been floating around for a while. For example, players have been aware of a possible new Special Event, and the Illuminate Objectives. However, this leaker also showed off the “Primordial Warbond”.
They noted: “Won’t go too much over this part as this one has already been talked about heavily, that being the next warbond – the Primordial-themed warbond which I’m quite sure you’ve seen a lot from”. This Warbond features a big AMR with teeth and a LAS Pistol with teeth.
Of course, what is a Warbod without some cool armor? The OP noted: “Two medium armors in which one I’m sure you’ve constantly seen as it has been here since launch. And the other medium armor which a picture of has been floating around that looks like a picture of Sasquatch”.
Helldivers Aren’t Impressed
Although these leaks show off a cool-looking “Primordial Warbond”, Helldivers 2 players weren’t all that pleased with it. Of course, it’s understandable that they have big expectations since they didn’t get any new content in a while.
One player, jsnamaok, noted: “Hopefully has some interesting Stratagems/support items to make up for the meh weapons and theme”. Another player, MGSOffcial, added: “I agree. A lot of this game’s design relies on “this sounds cool” or “this looks cool” instead of “this will be fun to play with”, when I believe both could be applied and it would work just fine”.
So, do you like it? We are sure some players will like these designs. After all, variety is key. So, while we wait to see when (and if) this Warbond will drop, let’s try to complete the current Major Order. We can do it if we work together! For Liberty and Super Earth.
