With the release of The First Descendant upon us, players might be wondering about what are the best characters in the game. That’s what the tier list is for. The First Descendant is the latest looter-shooter RPG that is full of characters you can unlock and play as. Every character in the game is unique and has a set of abilities and powers with different strengths and weaknesses. Tier List Ranking all Characters in The First Descendant
This tier list is based on our experience with The First Descendant during Beta testing and on release. Moreover, the list will be changed as the game gets more balance updates and patches, resulting in characters getting stronger or weaker.
However, with a big and expanding list of characters, every player should be able to find the one that best suits their play style. Hopefully, our list will help you choose the best starting character for you and choose what character you will unlock next. With this in mind, you will find the tier list of all characters currently in The First Descendant below:

The Best Characters in The Last Descendant
All four characters that are in our S-tier are a blast to play the game with. Luckily, both Ajax and Lepic can be picked as your first choice during tutorial missions, and Bunny is one of the easier unlocks (in fact, you unlock her during Main Quests). Every character in the S-tier has a set of abilities that make the game feel easier.
Moreover, Bunny, Lepic, and Freyna are all great damage dealers and have element-based abilities. They are great for dealing with enemies, especially bigger groups. On the other hand, the best tank in the game is Ajax, and his ability set proves this. The protection abilities of this character are unmatched, and his stun abilities can set the entire team up to do even more damage.
