The developers of The Finals, Embark Studios have announced some changes coming to the game in the future. The Cashout game mode is back and Bank It and Unranked Tournament are leaving The Finals. The game has enjoyed full support from its developers since the game was released in December of 2023. Embark Studios have been listening to the player feedback and they are constantly patching and updating the game, making The Finals one of the most enjoyable FPS experiences on the market. Why are Bank It and Unranked Tournament leaving The Finals?
Embark Studios explained in their Discord post that these two modes have the fewest players playing them. Therefore, the developers decided to remove these modes from the game for now. Although we are sad to see Bank It and Unranked Tournament leave, we are excited about what might come in the future. That starts with the return of the Cashout mode. Moreover, when these two game modes leave The Finals, Bank It mode will still be playable in Private Matches.

When Will Cashout Return to The Finals?
At this time, there is no information on the exact date for when will Cashback be making its comeback to The Finals. But we can speculate. Since the game mode shuffle was officially announced on March 25, 2024, we can probably expect it to happen during the next big patch for the game. However, the exact date still remains in the realm of speculation, even though the shuffle itself has been confirmed by the devs.
What is Cashout?
Cashout is a casual game mode that sees four teams of three contestants competing to be the richest team. This is a great mode to warm up with before jumping into Ranked Tournament play. It features quicker gameplay and match turnaround, making it feel more casual and lighthearted.
