Have you been having issues with crossplay not working in Texas Chain Saw Massacre? Keep reading to learn how you can solve the problem on all systems and platforms.
Gun Interactive’s Texas Chain Saw Massacre pits the Slaughter Family against their Victims in an ambitious 3v4 multiplayer format, rivaling other asymmetric horror games like the publisher’s own, Friday the 13th. While there are plenty of problems that need solving as you face off against friends in opposing roles, many players are experiencing technical issues with loss of Victim XP and joining parties in PvP, to name just a few bugs. This is to be expected with any new game release, and we’re here to offer solutions. Here’s how you can get crossplay working on all compatible platforms.
How to Fix Crossplay Not Working in Texas Chain Saw Massacre
While there isn’t necessarily a one-size-fits-all fix to get crossplay working in Texas Chain Saw Massacre, there are a handful of go-to solutions. Consider the following remedies.
- Ensure the crossplay feature is enabled on your platform.
- Restart your system or device.
- Check for updates from Gun Interactive and Texas Chain Saw support on their X account.
In many cases, disabled crossplay is the culprit when it comes to being walled from playing with friends and joining parties online. Make sure this feature is properly enabled on your system as a preventative measure.
While restarting your device and troubleshooting per the advice of developers are also a given when attempting to solve technical issues, these are generally easy fixes to most problems related to crossplay. Considering the traffic TCM has received in just its first week, it’s not surprising server connections have been slashed repeatedly, disrupting online PvP. Give your system a breather before joining another match.
How to Enable Crossplay in Texas Chain Saw Massacre
The crossplay feature in Texas Chain Saw Massacre is exclusive to current-gen platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and it’s easily enabled in your system’s settings. Follow the appropriate steps on your platform.
