During the PlayStation Showcase that recently dropped last month, we got an even closer look at the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man game release, Spider-Man 2. The new installment to the series features stunning graphics and a smooth combat system, which wowed franchise fans during the gameplay reveal. Developed by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel Games, the PlayStation exclusive is primed to deliver much more from our favorite neighborhood Spider-Men, but will it include Miles Morales?
Fans of the newcomer can rest assured. Miles Morales will take center stage alongside other familiar faces in Spider-Man 2, expected to arrive in the Fall of this year. Here’s what we know about the returning characters.

Will You Play as Both Miles and Peter in Spider-Man 2?
In Spider-Man 2, you will play as both Miles Morales and Peter Parker to take on Kraven’s Hunters as they pursue the Lizard. As showcased in the recent gameplay reveal for the new title, you’ll be given directives to alternate between the two Spider-Men at appropriate points throughout the story.
This will give players a chance to get a feel for each superhero’s fighting style, as well as some exciting new elements introduced alongside Venom, a character that has been teased to return to the franchise for quite some time now. Although, Miles doesn’t seem too thrilled about how Peter is affected.
How Old is Miles Morales in Spider-Man 2?
While it hasn’t been confirmed exactly how old Miles Morales will be in Spider-Man 2, fans estimate that his age is around 17 years old. However, it’s possible that he could be a bit older, given that the character was the same age in the previous installment. Personally, I would wager that Miles is roughly 18 in the sequel considering some time has passed since the last release.
In any case, Miles has come a long way as Spider-Man, and we’ll likely see how he has matured and grown stronger in the highly anticipated installment to Marvel’s Spider-Man series. We have this and more to look forward to when Spider-Man 2 launches in the Fall of 2023.
