Will Spider-Man 2 Be On PC?
The simple answer, for now, is no. Spider-Man 2 won’t be available on PC at launch because it is a PlayStation 5 exclusive. But don’t pack away your web-slingers just yet! Looking at trends, it seems that our hope for Spider-Man 2 on PC might not be in vain. Over time, Sony has been dipping its toes into the PC gaming market. They’ve launched previous Spider-Man titles, like Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, on Steam. PlayStation exclusives such as God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn have also found their way onto PC platforms.
This direction is promising for those of us who are rooted in the PC gaming world. It shows that Sony recognizes the value and potential of expanding their audience beyond console gamers. As a PC gamer myself, I find this shift exciting. I adore the flexibility and adaptability that PC gaming offers, and seeing Sony embrace this platform is certainly heartening.
So, while Spider-Man 2 might not be available on PC at the immediate launch, don’t lose hope. Keep your web-slingers at the ready because if Sony continues down this path, we may yet be swinging through the concrete jungle on our PCs in a few years.
