Insomniac’s Spider Man easily became one of the greatest super heroes games and Spider Man games when it first released. Fans eagerly awaited the sequel, and there isn’t much longer to wait. That said, Spider Man fans play on different consoles and PC, which has many questions of where it will be playable, whether it stays on PlayStation or comes to others.
One highly requested platform is the Nintendo Switch. The first title is not available on Nintendo’s handheld console, but the hope exists for Spider Man 2 to release on the Switch. Let’s find out whether it will happen below, or if you are caught in the hype web.
Will Spider Man 2 Be on Nintendo Switch?
Spider Man 2 will not be on Nintendo Switch. It is launching as a next-gen exclusive to the PlayStation 5. Players on PlayStation 4 will not even be able to play the sequel without upgrading their console. The sequel will also not have co-op and features a darker story with new villains. Unfortunately, Switch fans will have to miss out on this adventure unless they have a PlayStation 5.

When Will Spider Man 2 Release on Nintendo Switch?
Spider Man 2 will never release on Nintendo Switch. This is due to it being a Sony exclusive, and the Switch not being powerful enough to run this next-gen title. Insomniac’s Spider Man and Miles Morales Spider Man did come to PC, but it will almost 100% not come to the Nintendo Switch. Fans can also expect it to skip the Xbox Series X and stay on PlayStation 5 until a possible PC port.
