In a couple of days, on Friday, February 16, we’ll officially get the new game from Ubisoft called Skull and Bones. It’s a pirate-themed open-world action game, set in the golden years of piracy. Command ships, sail the Indian Ocean, and go on adventures to become the most famous pirate kingpin. Gather your friends, raise the black flag, and set out into the world to make a name for yourselves. Or go solo in a single-player campaign. Now, with the option for crossplay confirmed, fans are wondering on what platforms they can play Skull and Bones. Can you play Skull and Bones on Xbox? Let’s see, read on.
Can you Play Skull and Bones on Xbox?
Without any doubt, Skull and Bones is available to play on Xbox Series X and S. Specifically, it will be available on PC (Epic Games Store and Ubisoft’s website) and on current-gen consoles (Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5). The game is available to preorder for $69.99 on Xbox’s official webstore. Bear in mind that, to play online, you must be subscribed to Xbox Game Pass (Core or Ultimate subscriptions). The game will take approximately 27 GB of your hard drive.

Sadly, Skull and Bones is current-gen exclusive. Last-gen console owners (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) will be missing out on this one, as the game is more demanding than those consoles can handle. Moving forward, we’ll see more and more situations like this, where last-gen consoles would not be able to handle the demands of newer games.
