Nvidia’s budget lineup for the RTX 50-series has now been officially unveiled. The long-anticipated RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti are finally confirmed, rounding out the current generation and offering more affordable entry points into Blackwell-powered GPUs.
RTX 5060 Ti & 5060 Release Date
Nvidia has announced that the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti will launch on April 16, 2025, with global availability beginning at 9 PM HKT / 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM BST. Both the 8GB and 16GB GDDR7 variants will be released simultaneously.
Board partners will be permitted to publish product listings a day earlier, on April 15 at 9 PM HKT, with reviews going live once the retail embargo lifts at launch.
As for the standard RTX 5060, Nvidia has confirmed a May 2025 release window. While an exact date has yet to be shared, AIC partners are expected to begin promotional activity from mid-April, suggesting a launch is close behind the Ti model.

RTX 5060 Ti Pre Order Details
When it comes to pre-orders for the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti, we don’t expect a traditional pre-order phase. Since Nvidia has yet to officially announce the cards, retailers likely won’t open orders ahead of launch.
That said, some stores—such as Overclockers UK—occasionally advertise pre-order options. These are typically more like stock alerts or reservation systems rather than confirmed purchases and are often used to manage limited availability at launch.
RTX 5060 Ti vs 5060 Specs
Nvidia has now officially released the specifications for the new RTX 5060 family. First up is the standard RTX 5060, equipped with 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM. This time around, however, the price gap between the two versions is much narrower, which we’ll explore shortly. In the meantime, take a look at the full specifications for each card below:
