Well, although there’s no official way of creating a new public server, you could always create a private server instead. We’ll be telling you how to create a new private server as well as how to join a private server in Roblox.

How To Make a New Server

Now, as mentioned, there’s no official way to create a new public server in Roblox. However, some players managed to trick the game into creating one for them. Here’s how:

1. Joining any server that already has players.
2. Blocking any random player from that server.
3. Leaving the server and rejoining it.

Because the game doesn’t want you to be matched up with a player you’ve blocked, you sometimes get sent to a completely new server. Players usually do this so they could trade in Roblox more easily.

How To Make a Private Server

However, the more recommended way to create a new server is simply by creating a private server and joining that. To do so:

1. Launch the Roblox app or go to the official web page.
2. Look for the game or experience you want to create a private server for.
3. Click or tap on the servers heading and look for the create a private server.

Keep in mind that to create a private server, you’ll have to pay the fee in Robux (depending on the game), so it might be a good idea to only make private servers for games that really need private servers.

How To Join a Private Server?

If you want to join a private server that you’re already a part of, then you simply have to:

1. Look for the game or experience you want to create a private server for.
2. Click or tap on the servers heading and look for the server you want to join then click join.

However, if the private server you want to join doesn’t appear, then you’ll have to ask the owner of the server to either send a VIP link to that server or directly invite you. Well, either that or ask them to make it so friends can join the server. When either of these conditions is met, you’ll be able to see that server as well under the private servers tab.

How To Join Private Server on Xbox?

If you want to join a private server on Xbox, then you’ll first need to have a friend from either PC or mobile join that server. You can then launch Roblox on Xbox and use the friend activity to join your friend on the server.

Alternatively, if you want to be the only one on the server or you don’t have a friend to collaborate with, then you’ll have to create an alternate account on either your mobile or PC. Add your Xbox account as a friend and then join the private server. When done, start Roblox on your Xbox and use the friend activity to join your alternate account on the private server.

How To Join Private Server on Mobile?

If you want to join a private server on mobile, then:

1. First, launch the Roblox mobile app.
2. Then, look for the game you want to play, either by searching for it or from your recent games.
3. Then, scroll down until you find the servers option near the very bottom.
4. Here, under the private server heading, you’ll be able to see every joinable private server.
5. When you find the one you want to join, simply tap on the join option.
