Rematch is an upcoming online multiplayer game (5v5) that appears to be a spiritual successor to the long-forgotten Fifa Street. Think Fifa Street but throw in a bit of Rocket League, a sprinkle of Shaolin Soccer, and voila. Rematch is in the third person and the entire game is based on skills and tactics between you and your teammates. No fouls, no offsides, and no pauses is the tagline, which all sounds great but who doesn’t like two-footing someone?
Developer Sloclap has already confirmed the game is coming this summer to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with beta sign-ups now live.
Rematch beta registration
No mention of a specific Rematch beta start date but if you would like to try the game before release, signing up via the website is your best bet. Developers confirmed the beta will take place in “spring” to stress test servers and make sure everything runs as it should. They will also be taking feedback from testers.
The beta is invitation only and works on a first-come, first-serve basis, so you are better off signing up as soon as possible. Beta access will be on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and Steam, which could mean this game will feature crossplay, much like Rocket League.
Rematch release date
The specific release date will be announced in the Spring of this year, around when the beta goes live. Developers have already confirmed the game will officially hit shelves between June and August 2025. You can add the game to your wishlist for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
