However, sometimes, you just want to go in by yourself for some quality alone time, or you’re just looking for a challenge. In moments like that, especially on a higher difficulty, you might benefit from some guidance. This is where Sarge steps in. This devoted Helldivers 2 YouTuber mainly dives solo, on Super Helldive, and this time they showed the other players how to get a full clear against the Illuminate in style.
What’s the Best Approach When Going Solo on Super Helldive Against the Illuminate?
It’s no secret that Sarge is one of our favorite Helldivers 2 content creators. There isn’t much talk in their videos, just action and style, and we truly enjoy that. And, Sarge offers quite a cinematic experience. So much so, that if you’re craving some Helldivers 2, but you just don’t feel like playing the game, we recommend watching one of Sarge’s videos. They are truly inspiring and you might even pick up a couple of tips and tricks.
In their most recent Helldivers 2 video, Sarge goes on a solo mission against the Illuminate on Super Helldive. Their loadout consists of Primary: Exploding Crossbow, Secondary: Redeemer, Throwable: Incendiary Grenade, Armor: Predator, Helmet: Predator, and Cape: Foesmasher.
As for the Stratagems, this player went with the Eagle 500kg Bomb, the HMG, the Jump Pack, the Machine Gun Sentry, and the Experimental Infusion booster. Sarge chose the Retrieve Recon Craft Intel mission.
In the video, Sarge goes on to complete objective after objective and finishes the mission well ahead of time. We loved the clever way this player used the rooftops to avoid unnecessary direct contact with the Illuminate.
Helldivers 2 Players Praise Sarge
As expected, Helldivers worldwide enjoyed Sarge’s content, and they gladly offered well-deserved praise. After all, fighting solo against the Illuminate is no small feat, especially if you do it on Super Helldive and manage to get a full clear, not many Helldivers 2 players can do that.
One player, quentin7763, noted: “Fantastic video!! You’re the reason why I got the game last week. Thanks to your videos I’m already lvl.15 by mostly playing solo against bots and I’m starting to be able to do difficulty 5 missions with less and less deaths. Super Earth can’t thank you enough for the insane work you’re accomplishing”.
