Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 has seen the return of Marvel superheroes and villains, with them taking over the map for the first time since 2020’s Chapter 2 Season 4. This time, characters such as Emma Frost, War Machine, and Doctor Doom can be found across the map along with various weapons related to the characters. Along with the inclusion of iconic Marvel characters, it has now been revealed that the Mythic weapons are set to return as part of a new LTM that will be released this week.
Following an announcement by Epic Games that revealed the new LTM will be released on September 17th, prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX has posted to share more details on the new mode. In the post, HYPEX stated “CHAPTER 2 MYTHICS RETURN THIS TUESDAY IN THE NEW MARVEL x FORTNITE LTM”
HYPEX then revealed that Marvel Mythic weapons will be included as part of the new LTM,
- Stark Jetpack
- Iron Man’s Repulsor Gauntlets
- Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets
- Thor’s Mjolnir Strike
- Silver Surfer’s Board
- Groot’s Bramble Shield
- Hulk’s Smash
- She-Hulk’s Fists
- Black Panther’s Kinetic Armor
- Wolverine’s Claws
- Doctor Doom’s Mystical Bomb
- Iron Man’s Unibeam
- Storm’s Whirlwind Blast
- Venom’s Smash & Grab
There isn’t any information on what the LTM will be, whether it will be the previously released Marvel Standoff, Marvel Takeover, or Marvel Knockout, or whether it will be a brand new concept that we haven’t seen before. The current Chapter 5 Season 4 has been a slight letdown, as many of the most well-known characters such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, or The Hulk are missing from the collaboration. But, the inclusion of an LTM that brings the Chapter 2 Mythics back to Fortnite will be incredibly exciting.
