Whether you’re an old or new fan of Pokemon, you can’t deny that Absol is one of the coolest Pokemon ever. With that slick design, cold color pattern, and insanely powerful statistics backed by his expansive move set, he’s like the Linkin Park of the Pokemon world. As a playable Pokemon in the MOBA game Pokemon Unite, players get the chance to play as Absol. Having extremely high mobility and offensive stats, the enemy won’t even see you coming. If you want to unlock Absol for yourself, then there’s only one way. Unfortunately, it might end up taking longer than expected. Read on to find out how to get Absol in Pokemon Unite.
How to Purchase Absol Unite License
Unlike several other Pokemon that can be unlocked by completing challenges or meeting specific conditions. Absol can only be unlocked the old-fashioned way, which is by purchasing him from the Unite Battle Committee.
The Unite Battle Committee is one of the many shops in Pokemon Unite. It exclusively sells unit licenses to players, which enable them to take specific Pokemon into battle whenever they want.
The price of a purchasable Pokemon could range from 8000 Aeos coins (or 345 gems) for Pokemon such as Charizard and Snorlax, to 15,000 Aeos coins (or 575 gems) for Mew.
Step 1: Ensure You Have Enough Coins or Gems
To unlock Absol first, you will need to have either 10,000 Aeos coins or 575 Aeos gems. Although this amount seems high, Absol isn’t the most expensive playable Pokemon. The title of most expensive Pokemon in the game, currently belongs to Mew.
Because the only way to get Aeos gems is by purchasing them using actual money, we recommend grinding Aeos coins to buy Absol instead, as those can be farmed using multiple methods, with playing matches being the primary way.

Step 2: Purchase Absol Unite License from the Unite Battle Committee
Now that you’ve collected enough coins or gems to purchase Absol’s unite license, all that’s left to do is to finalize the deal. What you need to do is:
- First, launch Pokemon Unite, log in to your account, and reach the main menu.
- From this screen, locate the ‘shops’ tab near the bottom, and click or tap on it (depending on your device)
- On the shop screen, you’ll have three options to choose from, those being ‘Unite Battle Committee’, ‘Aeos Emporium’, and ‘Zirco Trading’. Click on the Unite Battle Committee, which should be at the very top.
- As soon as you click it, you’ll be taken to a screen that will have every buyable Pokemon. Look for Absol, and click on it.
- Finally, click or tap on the confirmation button (granted, of course, that you have the coins or gems). Congratulations, you now have Absol!
