From the adorably spooky Ghost-type to Dusclops and Dusknoir, each is obtainable in the expansion. However, you’ll need to get your hands on an essential evolution item to add the final evolution of the line to your Pokédex. Here’s how you can evolve your Duskull into Dusclops and Dusknoir in The Teal Mask.

How to Evolve Duskull into Dusclops in The Teal Mask DLC

Duskull will naturally evolve into Dusclops at Level 37. Fortunately, accomplishing this won’t be too difficult, considering wild Duskull are usually found between levels 60 and 70 in Kitakami. This means you’ll just need to level up your Pokémon once to trigger its evolution. If you don’t want to spend extra time gaining experience in battle, you can use Exp. Candies or Rare Candies to level up the Ghost-type Pokémon fast.

How to Evolve Dusclops into Dusknoir in The Teal Mask DLC

While obtaining Dusclops doesn’t pose much of a problem in The Teal Mask, evolving this Pokémon into Dusknoir can be a bit tricky. To evolve Dusclops, you’ll need to trade it to another trainer while it’s holding a Reaper Cloth. This special item acts as something like an evolution stone, triggering the transformation when exposed to the Pokémon under the correct circumstances.

If you’re without a trade partner, you may have some luck finding one on dedicated forums. With the help of community-based trade codes, you’ll have yourself a Dusknoir in no time. Just bear in mind that you must meet the evolution requirements to qualify. This means trading your Dusclops with a Reaper Cloth intact.

You’ll find wild Duskull roaming about various areas in the Kitakami region, outlined on the above map. I had the best luck finding one in the Infernal Pass on Oni Mountain, but they can also be found hanging around the Crystal Pool at the mountain’s summit and in the thick of the Timeless Woods.

Like most Ghost-type Pokémon, Duskull can only be found at night. Wait until the sun sets over the region to begin your search. I recommend using Dusk Balls to make the catch, as this will increase the catch rate during the nighttime. Not to mention, the Duskull line looks pretty great in these ball types.

Where to Find a Reaper Cloth in The Teal Mask DLC

You can pick up a Reaper Cloth in the Timeless Woods, pinpointed on the map above. The item can be found inside a Poké Ball in a small patch of wildflowers. Finding it shouldn’t be too tough. Just look for a small red aura emanating from the landscape.

Those who have put effort into completing their Kitakami ‘dex will also receive a free Reaper Cloth as a reward for registering at least 170 Pokémon. This is a great incentive for catching lots of species. Not to mention, it will help you on your quest to catch Bloodmoon Ursaluna.
