Payday 3 offers up a pretty well-rounded list of achievements. While some are easily earned by donning your mask for the very first time or customizing a mask of your own, others are eons more difficult to obtain. One of the toughest achievements to get your hands on is True Connoisseur, which essentially requires you to master Stealth gameplay on a relatively lengthy mission. To complete the task at hand, you’ll need to steal the painting by Shanda Latrell in Under the Surphaze. What’s more, this must be done on Very Hard mode or above. Here’s how it’s done.

How to Earn the True Connoisseur Achievement in Payday 3
To earn the True Connoisseur achievement, you’ll first need to form a party of at least three players. With your crew assembled, you can begin the Under the Surphaze heist in Stealth on Very Hard mode or above. This is a requirement to earn the Gold trophy, so there’s no way around it. Of course, this will make the task at hand all the more difficult, but following these steps will help you finish the job.
Memorize the Replicas
When the mission begins, you’ll need to locate the manager’s room on the top floor of the building. Inside, you’ll see a set of three small statues sitting on the desk. Get a good look at these pieces, as they’re miniaturized replicas of real statutes you’ll find in the exhibition room of the art gallery.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
With the replicas memorized, stealthily head to the exhibition room. You’ll have to steal all three of the real art pieces at the same time. It will require a bit of teamwork and coordination with your crew to time your actions accordingly. Have one player stand at each statue and break the protective glass in sync.
Don’t Press the Red Button
Whether you choose to take the statues with you or not, you’ll have to head back to the manager’s room. Search for a red button situated between two paintings on the wall — but don’t press it just yet.
Bag Secured
Send one player to Shanda Latrell’s painting in the art gallery. When you’re ready, press the red button to trigger the laser security system. Once activated, you should steal the painting as stealthily as possible and take it to the van. With the painting secured, you’ll earn the True Connoisseur achievement.
