There have been several reports of Once Human players getting banned for going off-limits. Have you experienced this? The community is trying to figure out what is the reason behind players getting banned.
Climbing a Mountain Might Get You Banned
One player, -ImPerium, complained to the Once Human community. They explained how they were permanently banned from the game, supposedly because they climbed a mountain. This player received a System Notification. It read: “Your character has been permanently banned. If you have any queries, please contact the GM. Reason: prohibited behavior”.
The OP elaborated: “I managed to climb a mountain by driving my car up the mountain that otherwise would be not accessible. I did it to have a better look at the map and see the big tree that was there. Minutes after my attempt to climb the mountain, the game banned me for Prohibited Behavior”.
Of course, the community immediately started theorizing what triggered the ban. One player, seductivpancakes, noted: “I have a feeling they banned you cause they think you used hacks to teleport to unreachable locations without realizing you mountain goated your way up there”.
Another player, nicknac1221, offered an alternative solution. They said: “That’s really weird. I drove up one of the mountains in week 2 and made a base up there for a bit (had a lot of trouble building so I moved) and I didn’t get banned. Maybe your mountain was higher and the game thought you were flying”.
Once Human Players Share Ideas for Solving This Problem
Helpful community members suggested what the devs could implement instead of banning players who go off-limits. A Redditor, durakraft, stated: “Some of these bans seem proper harsh. I read a few of these now. They ban players instead of giving us fatigue (also present somehow tho?). Maybe some kind of bubble that would negate entry”.
XingsNoodleCrib suggested: “That’s crazy, the devs should place a feature that fades the screen to black and respawn you back on the map”. Top_Tank_3701 added: “Or the butterflies that would kill you if you go beyond what you are supposed to”.
After seeing several reports of the Once Human players being permanently banned for going off-limits, we’d advise you to watch your step. Before losing any more sanity over this topic, we have to believe the devs are probably working on this issue. They might be banning lots of players if the issue persists as the game grows. That said, we are looking forward to the next season and seeing what they have in store for us. Enjoy the game and don’t go too far.
