The third quest in Bunny’s personal questline in The First Descendant is named In Search of the Relic, and it continues where the previous two left off. In the first one, named Follow Their Traces, Bunny starts uncovering the truth about her parents, and she digs even deeper in the second quest, The Traces Continue. Even other Descendants, like Gley and Sharen, become involved. Just like the others before it, this mission is simple to do if you know where to look. So, keep reading to see how to complete Bunny’s third quest.
How to Do In Search of the Relic Quest in The First Descendant
To do the ‘In Search of the Relic’ quest you must locate and listen to the third Record concerning Bunny’s parents. ‘In Search of the Relic’ quest is located in the Derelict Covert zone of the Echo Swamp. It is the one with huge trees and the data collecting, “super-mario” mission.
Unlocking the Echo Swamp region requires the completion of all the main missions in Vespers. After which you have to win the Executioner Void Intercept mission and that will unlock the Echo Swamp region.
Record Location
Once you reach Derelict Covert, you need to head to the northern part of the area and look for a specific “tree house”. One of the main Missions, Old Human Base, will take you pretty close to it. Look for an incredibly tall tree, with a futuristic ring-like structure on it (with an orange glow). The exact location is provided on the map below.
The Record is located on top of a ruined wooden structure, found on that tree. Use the grappling hook to more easily reach the top and claim the third record. You can use the moving platforms, but it requires more work and concentration than simply using the grappling hook.
Once you acquire the Record you have to listen to it, to progress the quest. You can do so by Opening your Quest screen and navigating to the Record tab. The record’s name is Incomplete Chat Log, and listening to it offers more insights into Bunny’s parents and their secrets. After listening to the recording, return to Albion and speak with Anais. That will provide further information on the fate of Bunny’s parents and unlock the next quest in the line named Data Chip Fragments.
