Elden Ring is one of the few games released recently that didn’t come out with the intention to immediately add more DLC. We already received our first DLC, but that took a lot of time.
Many games today are released with DLC already available, which most fans dislike. Despite that, Elden Ring won Game of the Year without announcing more updates for the game.

Yes! This was confirmed by a tweet from the official Elden Ring Twitter.
This looks bigger than the Colosseum Update and may imply another new story.
With so much hype, many were starting to wonder when DLC would come. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was a very popular game but didn’t receive any paid DLC. in the future.
We hope that Elden Ring receives similar free DLC that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice received. New outfits, remnants, and the ability to re-challenge bosses would be incredible.
In particular, a wolf outfit like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice had would be a great nod.
When is DLC for Elden Ring coming?
No date has been set just yet. The only DLC was announced very recently, so it will take time before the developer says anything about it.
Elden Ring has to develop Shadow of the Erdtree, but they may have been working on this since the game was released, so our guess is that the earliest it will release is the summer of 2023.

Shadow of the Erdtree is the newest DLC announced for Elden Ring. The only information we have is this image sent out.
In the image, the player character is riding through a wheat field on their mount. A graveyard-like atmosphere surrounds them, reminiscent of ghostly graves.
