Is Starfield on Steam?
When it comes to Steam, yes, Starfield is available to pre-purchase though the Steam store. Valve’s storefront has both Standard and the more expensive Premium Editions of the game, and will release the same day as the other versions. You can check out the Steam listings here and the prices are as follows:
- Starfield standard Edition: £59.99
- Starfield Premium Edition: £85.99
It’s worth noting that anyone who is subscribed to the PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions services will be able to play the game on its standard release date, since the Game Pass version will be the Standard Edition. Although, subscribers can additionally pay for the Premium Edition Upgrade to play the game early.
Starfield will be available for PC when it releases on September 6, 2023. There will also be a Premium Edition, which will allow players to access the game five days earlier on September 1. PC players will be able to pre-order the game through the Microsoft Store and launch it through the Xbox app.

Is Starfield On Epic Games Store?
Unfortunately, Starfield will not be available on the Epic Games Store when it launches in September. No plans have been announced to release an Epic Games Store version, and it most likely will not come to the PC platform.
While Bethesda has released several of its games on the digital storefront, Microsoft has kept its games to its own store and Steam on PC. Considering Starfield will be a tentpole release for Microsoft, which owns Bethesda, an Epic Games Store version is unlikely to happen in the near future.
