Mortal Kombat is returning to the fighting game scene since the previous game, Mortal Kombat 11, released for PC and consoles in 2019. The new game will be launching simultaneously on multiple platforms, but is Mortal Kombat 1 on PC? Will Mortal Kombat 1 Be on PC?
Mortal Kombat 1 will be coming to PC. It should come as very little surprise that the latest game in the franchise would be available on the platform, since the previous three main titles have appeared on PC. That would include Mortal Kombat (2011), Mortal Kombat X, and Mortal Kombat 11.
The series has its roots as a fighting game made specifically for consoles, but a few titles have been ported over to PC after the initial launch. The new game will be releasing for PC alongside the PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo versions on September 19.
Is Mortal Kombat 1 on Steam?
The game will be coming to Steam alongside the other versions of the title at launch. While Steam has been the preferred and one of the most popular game launchers on PC, some recent games have skipped Valve’s platform or have been a delayed release.
That is not the case for the fighting game sequel, and will be available for PC via Steam on September 19.
Is Mortal Kombat 1 on Epic Games Store?
Mortal Kombat 1 will be on the Epic Games Store at launch. The game will also not be a timed exclusive to the Epic Games Store, so players choosing to play on PC will have multiple options on where to get it from if they have a preferred game library.
