Is Mageseeker on Game Pass?

Sylas fighting two enemies in Mageseeker.

Mageseeker, the next game to come out of Riot Games’ publishing arm, Riot Forge, is almost upon us. Players will take control of Sylas, the dangerous revolutionary, as he seeks to tear down Demacia for its persecution of magic users. Following in the footsteps of Ruined King, the game is set be narratively focused, expanding the lore of Runeterra, while also presenting players with fast paced ARPG gameplay.

The game is set to release on a number of systems, including PC and Xbox. Riot Games has started to toy with using Xbox Game Pass to promote its products. Will Mageseeker be the next Riot Games title to be available on the service?

Is Mageseeker Coming to Game Pass?

It is possible, but currently, there is no confirmation that it will be included in Xbox Game Pass.

The game will be for sale on Xbox and PC through the Xbox Games App, meaning that the framework to do so is there. If a deal was reached, the game could be included on the Xbox Game Pass very easily. To further support this, Riot Games has begun to offer some benefits to Games Pass subscribers. The current games and benefits are as follows:

  • Valorant – All Valorant agents, including new agents on release, and a 20% XP boost
  • League of Legends – All Champions, including new champions on release, and a 20% XP boost
  • Teamfight Tactics – One-star rare Little Legends tactician, four Arena skins available until April 2023, and one Arena skin on rotation monthly thereafter
  • League of Legends: Wild Rift – All Wild Rift Champions, including new champions on release, and a 20% XP boost
  • Legends of Runeterra – All cards in the Foundations set

That said, none of the third-party games released through Riot Forge have been included on the Xbox Game Pass before. It is possible that the games published through Riot Forge could be added at a later date, but there has been no confirmation of this.

Players can hope that Mageseeker may end up on the service someday, but for now, they may have to resign themselves to paying full price for this title.
