Mageseeker is the latest title to come out of Riot Forge, Riot Games’ publishing arm dedicated to creating more IPs in the League of Legends universe. The titles to have come from Riot Forge have been varied, ranging from story focused RPG to fast-paced rhythm runners.
Mageseeker will be another more story-focused game, but with ARPG combat and a pixelated graphics style. Fans of both ARPGs and the League of Legends universe are excited about this release, but will all fans, especially those mobile gamers out there, be able to enjoy this title?
Will Mageseeker Be Released on Mobile?
Sadly no, Mageseeker will not be released on mobile.
Some thought the pixelated style may have transitioned well to mobile, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Digital Sun, the developer behind Mageseeker, only has moderate mobile game experience. Their previous title, Moonlighter, was developed for PC and consoles.
While it did eventually make its way to mobile, it was a good number of years after its original release. It is possible this could be the case with Mageseeker, but there is no official confirmation of such a version.

What Platforms Will Mageseeker Be Released On?
Mageseeker will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and on PC. The game releases on April 18, 2023.
Riot Games has historically been a PC-focused game developer, but the games to come from Riot Forge have been more varied. Riot Games has even begun to branch out to mobile themselves with Wild Rift.
While mobile may be left out, fans shouldn’t worry too much. The game is still coming to many consoles, both the current gen and the last gen. For players who want to game on the go, there is still the option to play Mageseeker on the Switch.
