It’s here! The Shooting Star Season started on December 30, following a sizeable update. While many Infinity Nikki players are extremely pleased with the update, some mobile users are experiencing some game-breaking issues. Have you had any troubles?
Game-Breaking Issues Plague Some of the Mobile Players Since the Update
Unfortunately, the first big update left some of the mobile players annoyed and disappointed. As some players got to continue their journey and enjoy the new event, others were just locked out. Many mobile users reported not even being able to enter the game following the update.
Several players reported that the game kicked them out while they were trying to enter. One of those players, daisysoap, noted: “I can’t even get into the game cause it keeps on closing the game whenever compiling shaders it at 8%”. It seems that this problem affects iOS users the most, especially on models older than iPhone 15.
However, those that were lucky and managed to enter the game had some other problems. One of those was that the controls and lag felt even worse than before. ConclusionGood8087 reported: “My control only drifts me to the right side and whenever I snap to take a picture it closes the game off completely”.
Some Players Report Texture Problems
Aside from those game-breaking issues, some Infinity Nikki mobile players reported having problems with texture after the update. Now, these players could still play the game, but it was aesthetically horrifying.
Small-Bet6634 noted: “So, after I updated the game, I met with this grey untextured version instead, I’ve tried re-login, checking for file integrity, and re-download, but nothing works”. Several players reported experiencing the same problem.
For all of the mobile players having problems, we’d like to remind you that since Infinity Nikki is cross-platform, you can continue playing on another device until the devs resolve this issue. Hopefully, they’ll do so soon, as we don’t like leaving Momo alone for long. For all of you who don’t have any issues, enjoy! And for you who have, be patient, we’re sure help is on the way.
