Sigils are an important part of the endgame in Diablo 4. They come in various tiers so read on to see if you can upgrade Sigils in Diablo 4.
Some players state that the real game begins after you finish the campaign. That’s when the search for even better loot and XP begins, with World Bosses, Seasonal events, and more. To be ready for that, you need some powerful gear. Nightmare Sigils are there to help you out.
Can You Upgrade Nightmare Sigils?
Unfortunately, there is no way to upgrade Sigils in Diablo 4 to a higher Tier at the moment. Nightmare Sigils are consumable items available only from World Tier 3 and up. They come in Tiers, from 1 to 100, but there is no way to make turn a lower-tier Sigil into a higher one. Your best bet is to scrap the low-tier Nightmare Sigil and use the Sigil Powder to craft a better one.

How to Craft Sigils in Diablo 4
To craft Nightmare Sigils you first need to complete a Quest called Sigil Crafting and get to an Occultist. Sigils require gold and Sigil Powder to craft and are divided into two categories. Sacred Nightmare Sigils are for World Tier 3 and go from Sigil Tier 1 to 20, and Ancestral Nightmare Sigils are for World Tier 4 and go from Sigil Tier 21 to 100. The cost is proportional to the Tier, as shown below:
