What Do I Need To Build a Gate in Sons Of The Forest

Here are the materials required to make a gate in Sons of the Forest:

• Wooden logs: Can be obtained by chopping down any tree in the forest. 
• Tactical Axe: You have this in your inventory from the start of the game. 

Step by Step – Building a Gate in Sons Of The Forest

Once you have the required materials, follow the steps described below to make a gate:

1. First, equip and stack seven wooden logs horizontally on top of each other.
2. Now equip your axe and aim at the log that’s second from the top. You’ll see a marker to cut it from the middle using your Left-click on PC, R2 on PlayStation, RT on Xbox if you’re on a PlayStation or Xbox controller, respectively.
3. Cut the log that’s second from the top right in the middle. Make sure you don’t disturb the top log, as it acts as the upper frame for your gate.
4. Repeat the process, cutting each subsequent wooden log from the middle.
5. Once you’re done cutting all the horizontally stacked logs from the middle, pick up a fresh wooden log and stand near the stacked logs. You’ll see an arrow marker.
6. Once the arrow marker appears, left-click (mouse), R2 (PlayStation), or RT (Xbox) to cut the equipped log in half and turn it into the revolving door for your gate.
7. Repeat step 6 with a second log to complete your revolving door.
8. Now your gate is all finished, and you can walk through it anytime.
