The 3D Printer is a highly-sought after item in Sons Of The Forest that can be used to directly print out essential materials such as a Water Flask or Arrows.
The items you can print are normally tedious to find in the sprawling forest. If you’ve been unable to locate it, you’ve come to the right place, as we will explain all the places you can get one from.
Closest 3D Printers Locations in Sons Of The Forest
There are only a few locations from which you can find a 3D Printer in the Sons of the Forest all listed in the image above. We’ll be listing the ones closest to the starting location below so you can choose the location that is most likely closest to you:
First 3D Printer Location
You can locate the most convenient 3D Printer on the west side of the map near the green marker (Point of Interest in the game). It is inside a cave on the island’s western side, nestled between the ocean and snowy mountainscape.
Upon arriving at the green marker on your map, you can confirm you’ve reached the correct spot if you come across an old, abandoned golf cart near the cave entrance.
When you’re ready to proceed, venture inside the dark tunnel, and it will lead you swiftly to an underground bunker.
After going through the initial corridor, you’ll discover a small room that houses the 3D Printer, a sleeping bag for resting, and various resources, including Printer Resin, an essential resource for creating 3D printed objects.

Second 3D Printer Location
Reaching this location can be a bit more challenging since you must first acquire the shovel to gain entry. This Point of Interest is located in an underground bunker at the dig site on the southwest of the island.
To enter the underground bunker, you’ll need to dig up the site, and the only way to do so is through the shovel obtained via a tunnel after you’ve gotten the Rebreather and the Zipline Rope Gun.
Once you’ve entered the bunker, head straight through the main corridor, and you’ll find a door to your right that leads to the room with the 3D Printer.
You’ll also be able to find other goodies here, like the Laser Sight, Resin, and even a Tuxedo.
With four locations hosting the 3D Printer in Sons Of The Forest, it’s best to follow the two above to reach them if you want to craft bows and arrows or Tech Mesh for your Tech Armor.
