Where Can You Buy Potions in Hogwarts Legacy?
You can buy ready-made potions and the recipes at J. Pippin’s Potions in Hogsmeade. You can also purchase the ingredients you’ll need to make them. However, all supply is limited, so recipes are a better buy once you earn enough Galleons.
While you can purchase various potion ingredients at J. Pippin’s Potions, I recommend looking for them throughout Hogwarts Legacy. To obtain ingredients for free, just search for them in the terrain or defeat the enemies they come from.

How Do You Make Potions in Hogwarts Legacy?
You’ll be able to brew your own potions in Hogwarts Legacy after attending Potions Class, which is taught by Professor Sharp. In his classroom, there’s a brewing station you’ll always be able to use. You’ll just need recipes and ingredients.
You can also brew potions at a station in the Room of Requirement once you unlock it. You’ll be able to access this location after making some progress in the story. Professor Weasley will walk you through the process of conjuring spellcrafts and using various stations in the room, including the Potions Station.
Later on, you can also purchase a spellcraft for the Hopping Pot at Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade. This item will brew a random potion every 15 minutes, so it comes in handy in the long run.
