Do you remember Meridia? Back at the end of May, Helldivers received a special Major Order which ended with the destruction of Meridia and the creation of a black hole. This MO was one of the most epic ones so far. Well, according to some leaks, there might be another Special Event in the future of Helldivers 2.
Leaks Suggest a New Special Event Is Coming
Remember that overwhelming excitement, how cool would it be to experience something similar? One very prolific leaker, IronS1ghts, had some very good news for all the players wishing for another Special Event.
They noted: “(Leak) KLEN DAHTH II Special Event. There is some sort of “Event” tied to this planet that will result in a biome change. During this event, a large blue-ringed planet appears, illuminating the surface of the planet. This event is set up similarly to how the Meridia Black Hole was”.
The OP also posted a couple of images tied to this event, including the aforementioned blue planet. As for Klen Dahth II, all Starship Troopers recognize that the name is a nod to Klendathu. Helldivers will also probably know that this planet is located near Super Earth, which makes this leak even more exciting.
Helldivers 2 Players Love Leaks About New Content
Helldivers 2 players were quite excited by these leaks of a new Special Event. As you know, many Helldivers are wishing for more new content, including a new enemy faction. Yes, even though they were banished in the First Galactic War, the player base expects the Illuminates to return.
Many players pointed out that the wording of this announcement pointed toward the Illuminates, especially since the word “illuminating” was used. Sinus_Prime noted: “I have a theory, it is that it will be an Illuminati planet. They will use their teleportation technology to teleport the f**king planet and launch an invasion from there using it as a forward base”.
If it turns out that it isn’t an Illuminates attack, the Terminids are an obvious second choice. AlienShades explained: “KDII is located in the Altus Sector, one of the sectors bordering Sol (Super Earth). It’s also in the Northeastern portion of the map, putting it in the path of the Terminids”.
Well, we can’t wait to see what will happen, as this looks extremely promising. Do you think the Illuminates will finally join the Second Galactic War? Or will the bugs make a pass at Super Earth?
