Helldivers games are inspired by classic action sci-fi movies with satirical political undertones, like Starship Troopers. You play as Helldivers, an elite force tasked with fighting against Super Earth’s enemies. The game is best when played co-op with friends, as many games are. It is still available for pre-order, but is it also available to play via Xbox’s subscription service? Is it on Xbox Game Pass? Read on and find out.
Is Helldivers 2 on Xbox Game Pass?
We have some bad news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, Helldivers 2 will not be playable on their favorite subscription service. Helldivers 2 is PlayStation exclusive, and will not be available on Xbox consoles or their monthly Game Pass. This game is published by Sony, and since Sony and Microsoft do not see eye to eye, it is almost impossible it will appear on Microsoft’s console or subscription service. For now, Helldivers 2 is only playable on PlayStation and PC.
Will It Be on PC Game Pass?
Sadly, we doubt that Helldivers 2 will be on PC Game Pass. The game is available on PC, but it will not be on PC Game Pass and will be Steam exclusive. The first installment was not available on other PC gaming platforms, like Epic Games Store, so we expect that the sequel will follow suit. On the other hand, stranger things have happened, and things may change in the future. But, for now, it’s safe to say that Helldivers 2 will only be playable on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
